Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy in Sweden seeks a Project Controller to support project managers with structure, transparency and financial control. You will monitor schedules, budgets and forecasts to provide timely information.

You will develop KPIs, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement in project governance and reporting, ensuring high-quality documentation and stakeholder communication. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Experience in project controlling, project management, or financial project support.
• Proven experience in project control focusing on scheduling and financial management.
• Experience on large industrial, manufacturing, investment, or plant-related projects is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decision-making.
• Good understanding of industrial processes and project delivery practices.
• Experience working with project management tools and software.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project schedules, costs, and budgets.
• Support Project Managers with planning, forecasting, and control activities.
• Provide financial follow-up and cost control to keep projects within approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly project reporting for Project Management and Finance.
• Analyze project data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Develop and monitor project KPIs and performance metrics.
• Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities, and support mitigation actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within project governance and reporting processes.
• Ensure high-quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
