Job summary

emagine is seeking a Project Controller to support a diverse portfolio of product development and customer projects in Södertälje. You will act as a finance business partner to project managers, ensuring transparency and robust financial control throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis, with collaboration across engineering, sales, purchasing, production, and finance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling, or project management support.
• Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate technical and financial drivers into business insights.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and follow-up for a portfolio of product development and customer projects.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions.
• Analyze project profitability, business cases, and investment proposals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project managers and leadership with financial insights and performance analyses.
• Develop and maintain project financial reporting, including budget tracking and resource utilization.
• Prepare decision material and presentations for management and governance forums.
• Ensure financial transparency and support fact-based decisions on priorities and investments.
• Perform ad hoc analyses related to project performance and portfolio management.
• Drive continuous improvement of project controlling processes, tools, and reporting methods.
