Job summary

ALSTOM Gruppe in Västerås is seeking a BidPlanner to own time management for bids and to work with the bid manager to deliver on-time bid schedules. You will coordinate inputs, shape schedule strategy, and lead regular scheduling meetings in a multinational environment.

You will analyze bid documentation, set timelines, manage critical paths, and ensure deliverables align with contract requirements. Strong English is essential; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, project planning and/or project management.
• Fluency in English; Swedish knowledge is a plus.
• Engineering or Business degree required.
• Strong communication and proactive approach.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6 or Planisware and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze bid documentation to understand schedule requirements and constraints.
• Set a timeline for bid preparation and ensure adherence until submission.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate inputs and define schedule interfaces.
• Lead bid schedule development based on contract requirements and strategy.
• Identify critical path and risks; propose mitigation actions.
• Draft the bid schedule narrative (internal version).
• Ensure on-time delivery of bid schedule deliverables.
