Job summary

SSC Space seeks a Technical Project Manager – Systems Engineering to combine systems engineering with project leadership and translate customer requirements into practical solutions. You will lead projects from planning through delivery, coordinate multiple disciplines, and manage risks in a global space industry setting.

You will collaborate across engineering domains, ensure contractual commitments, and build strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering background and degree.
• Experience in systems engineering of complex technical systems.
• Experience leading technical work packages or multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical scope, plans and deliverables.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects in line with contractual commitments, scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and system-level guidance during planning and execution.
• Coordinate different engineering disciplines and manage interfaces and dependencies.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial and schedule risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Build trusted customer relationships and act as a key contact for technical matters.
• Manage planning, progress reporting, documentation, financial follow-up and invoicing.
