Job summary

SSC Space is seeking a Technical Project Manager – Systems Engineering to lead complex projects at the Solna or Kiruna office. You will blend systems engineering with project leadership, translating customer needs into practical technical solutions while coordinating multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.

The role requires an engineering degree, experience in systems engineering and project management, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with a degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering of complex technical systems.
• Knowledge in mechanical, software or electronics.
• Experience leading technical work packages or multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical scope and plans.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Space industry or safety-critical systems experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical projects per contract scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and system-level guidance during planning and execution.
• Coordinate disciplines and manage interfaces and dependencies.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, and schedule risks.
• Build trusted customer relationships as contact for technical and project matters.
• Manage planning, progress reporting, documentation, and invoicing.
