Job summary

SSC Space is seeking a Project Manager & Operations Lead for the Rockets & Balloons Department. You will plan, lead, and execute campaigns, manage countdowns, and serve as the main liaison to international customers.

The role requires strong teamwork and the ability to navigate complex operations across global teams. You will work within the PPS project management framework, overseeing launches from the Operations Center, coordinating with stations, and ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English; Swedish is valued but not mandatory.
• Experience with PPS or a similar structured project management framework.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills; ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and operate projects and countdowns in Rockets & Balloons.
• Serve as primary liaison to international customers, managing stakeholder relations.
• Lead day-to-day campaign activities and coordinate across teams.
• Oversee launches from Operations Center and authorize launches in critical situations.
