Job summary

Kalmar is seeking a Service Dispatcher to own daily service delivery and customer support across Sweden. Based in Piteå, you will coordinate technician schedules, safeguard service commitments, and oversee invoicing preparation, impacting regional operations.

You will act as the link between customers, field technicians, and suppliers, handling warranty cases and returns while maintaining high service standards. Swedish and English fluency is expected.

Qualifications

  • Commercial and/or technical educational background.
  • 3–5 years of service coordination, dispatch, or operational experience.
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and optimize daily work of service technicians across northern Sweden.
  • Serve as primary contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet service commitments.
  • Evaluate completed work, monitor service quality, and manage warranty claims and invoicing.

We’re looking for a Service Dispatcher who is ready to take ownership of daily service delivery and customer support across Sweden.

In this role, you won’t just be scheduling jobs - you’ll be the backbone of our operational excellence in northern Sweden. Acting as the crucial link between our customers, field technicians, and suppliers, you will coordinate technician schedules, safeguard our service commitments, and ensure total customer satisfaction. It’s a dynamic platform where you will manage warranty cases, streamline return processes, and oversee invoicing preparation, directly impacting the success and efficiency of our regional operations.

This role is based in Piteå, Sweden.

What are your key responsibilities:

Service Coordination & Dispatch: Plan, schedule, and optimize the daily work of service technicians, primarily serving our customers and team across northern Sweden.

Customer & Operations Support: Act as the primary, go-to contact for customers, suppliers, and internal service teams to ensure all service commitments are seamlessly met.

Service Quality & Follow-Up: Evaluate completed work, monitor service quality, and maintain strong operational standards.

Administrative Management: Efficiently handle warranty claims, process returns, and prepare accurate invoicing to keep operations running smoothly.

What you bring to the role:

Educational Foundation: Commercial and/or technical educational background.

Proven Experience: 3-5 years of success in a service coordination, dispatch, or operational role within the service industry (experience in the automotive sector is highly preferred).

Technical & System Savvy: A strong technical interest paired with solid computer proficiency; experience with SAP and Salesforce is considered a distinct advantage.

Organizational Excellence: Outstanding administrative capacity, a highly structured mindset, and a passion for organizing complex workflows.

Communication & Language Skills: Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken) with exceptional interpersonal and customer-oriented skills.

Collaborative Spirit: A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
