Sharkmob AB in Malmö is seeking a senior engineer for our Core Systems team to work on the game engine powering our Unreal 5-based projects. You’ll guide architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and deliver high-quality engine features that meet our visual and performance goals.

We value deep experience in C++ and shader programming, a solid understanding of CPU/GPU architecture, and a track record of shipping in a feature-rich engine.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++ and shader programming.
• Understanding of CPU and GPU architecture.
• Experience improving upon and working in a feature-rich game engine.

• Multi-platform development
• Improve performance and stability of our game
• Implement and adapt rendering features, such as modern lighting techniques
• Find, diagnose, understand and fix crashes in low level systems
