Job summary

Unibail-Rodamco Germany GmbH is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead safe, efficient and sustainable operation of a flagship asset. You will oversee technical maintenance, capital projects, LTEAP initiatives and long-term asset strategies, reporting to the General Manager.

You will build and guide a technical team, manage budgets, supervise contractors, ensure compliance with health and safety, and collaborate with tenants and stakeholders to enhance performance and customer

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical, facilities, engineering or asset management.
• Proven leadership in complex operational settings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance management.
• Experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Experience delivering sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Structured, organised, solutions-focused with multitasking.
• Relevant engineering or facilities qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Management team and set priorities.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation of building systems.
• Manage operating and capex budgets aligned to objectives.
• Deliver LTEAP energy and sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance programmes to maximise reliability.
• Drive contractor performance and value for money.
• Support tenant fit-outs and construction projects.
• Develop long-term CAPEX roadmap and asset strategies.
• Coordinate risk, business continuity and emergency response.
• Collaborate with sustainability and commercial teams.
