Job summary

Viaplay Group in Stockholm seeks a Senior Leader - Program Department to shape and deliver our channel and program strategy across radio, TV, streaming and podcasts. You will build high‑performing teams, translate strategy into concrete plans, manage budgets, and collaborate with content partners to grow audiences and commercial impact.

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong people leadership and a proven media track record.

Qualifications

Significant leadership experience in media or content business.
Strong strategic understanding of content, audiences and channels.
Proven ability to translate strategy into clear plans and results.

Responsibilities

Own planning, development and delivery of the program offering for channels in your area.
Use audience insights and data to identify opportunities and translate into initiatives.
Lead and develop parts of the program organisation including people and processes.
Coach and develop leaders and employees; manage performance and succession planning.
Drive alignment on goals, priorities and business results.
Manage budgets and resources across your area; collaborate with TV and content teams.
Monitor industry trends to keep content offering competitive.
