Job summary

Viaplay Group in Stockholm is seeking a Content Planner Series SVOD to shape our SVOD content offering. You will own the planning and selection of series and non-scripted content, translating our portfolio strategy into engaging monthly and quarterly line-ups.

You will collaborate across genres and editorial initiatives to maximize impact, balancing new releases with library content and using performance data to refine planning decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in content planning, programming, content curation or similar within media/entertainment.
• Strong analytical skills using performance data to inform planning decisions.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into structured, actionable line-ups.
• Strong project management with ability to juggle multiple priorities across teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to translate complex info into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Select and prioritise series and non-scripted titles in line with the annual content plan and portfolio priorities.
• Translate priorities into monthly and quarterly content line-ups with a commercial focus.
• Balance new releases, returning series and library content for a compelling SVOD offering.
• Use performance data and local insights to refine selections and sequencing.
• Track title-level performance and adjust plans based on results.
• Collaborate with Content Curation and local programming teams to ensure editorial alignment across territories.
• Support cross-genre initiatives, themes and editorial spotlights through structured planning.
• Identify gaps and overlaps and translate into clear acquisition requirements.
• Contribute to improvements and optimisation of planning processes and tools (AirTable).
• Work with Content Planning, Content Curation, Content Performance & Value, Acquisitions and local teams.
