Job summary

MegaTech Live IT Services in Uppsala, Sweden, is seeking an experienced Desktop Support IT Engineer to join our team on-site. This role covers 1st and 2nd line desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and PC/printer maintenance to ensure smooth operations for all users.

The successful candidate will have strong Windows and Microsoft 365 experience, Swedish language proficiency at B2 level or above, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Previous experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Service Desk, or a similar role.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop and IT support to end users.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, access, and basic IT security requirements.
Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
Perform hardware/software installations and upgrades.
Document incidents, service requests, and solutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused support experience.
