Job summary

ESSIQ AB in Malmö seeks an experienced Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our international R&D team. You will develop advanced ASIC/SoC verification environments, build testbenches from scratch, and develop VIPs and SVA to ensure high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least five years of relevant ASIC/SoC verification experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Proven hands-on experience developing verification testbenches from scratch.
• Experience developing and integrating Verification IPs (VIPs).
• Good understanding of assertions, functional and code coverage, and coverage-driven verification.
• Solid understanding of digital design and modern verification methodologies.
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration in international teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least five years of relevant experience, preferably with a strong focus on ASIC/SoC verification.
• Excellent knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Proven hands‑on experience developing verification testbenches and test environments from scratch.
• Experience developing and integrating Verification IPs (VIPs).
• Good understanding of assertions, functional coverage, code coverage, and coverage‑driven verification.
• A solid understanding of digital design and modern verification methodologies.
• Experience working in Linux‑based development environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in international, cross‑functional engineering teams.

Additional experience that we consider valuable:

• Verification of ASICs used in telecommunications, networking, or high‑speed interfaces.
• Experience with regression testing, automation, and CI environments.
• Experience analyzing verification metrics and improving verification efficiency.
• Previous experience mentoring engineers or contributing to technical team development.
• Experience working in large‑scale, international R&D organizations.
