Fortum in Sweden is seeking a Sales & Development Manager to drive the energy-as-a-service sales pipeline for Sweden, focusing on electrification of heat for industries and district heating across metals, mining, food & beverages, chemicals and forest, plus hyperscale data centers.
You will originate opportunities, build and close deals with support from project developers, travel across Sweden, and join a growing, entrepreneurial team with a hybrid Malmö or Solna office.
Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable energy in the Nordics? At Fortum and our business unit Heating & Cooling Nordics, we're not just transforming how heat is produced - we're redefining the role of electricity in industrial and district energy systems. We're one of the largest electricity-based heat producers in the Nordics. Our aim is to generate substantial growth and you will help build the project pipeline to fuel this.
As a Sales & Development Manager, you will be a driving force in building the sales pipeline for Energy as a Service in Sweden where we offer electrification of heat for industries in metals & mining, food & beverage, chemicals and forest, as well as in district heating, where we manage some of the largest waste heat integration projects in the world with hyperscale datacenters. We believe in high customer centricity and our promise is that our customers can trust that our selected solutions are future-proofed.
This position is located in our Malmö or Solna office and involves traveling on a regular basis.
This role is ideal for someone who is energized by sales, customer dialogue and business origination. You're at your best when meeting the customers, creating momentum and turning opportunities into business. You will be a part of a new, growing team with an entrepreneurial spirit, building long-term energy partnerships with our customers with our Energy as a Service offering.
At Fortum, we believe in a better future and want to be involved in shaping it. Our workplace is a safe place, both physically and mentally. You will grow with professional colleagues, being trusted and free to challenge yourself. We offer comprehensive benefits, flexible working hours, and hybrid work model to support your productivity, development and wellbeing. We are committed to build diverse teams where everyone feels included and is treated equally.
