Job summary

Sportway Media Group is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to own end-to-end delivery of AI camera systems across installations, logistics, and field operations.

This highly autonomous role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to work with our Stockholm HQ while building a local team and coordinating with international offices. Travel is required, and the role offers a dynamic, international work environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Experience with IT and IP hardware and vendor management.
• Proven project management or operational experience.
• Experience with international logistics.
• Ability to travel regularly for installations.
• Experience with European companies and understanding of cross-market differences.

Responsibilities

• Logistics: coordinate and optimize installations and operations across regions per HQ guidelines.
• Procurement & cost control: own budget for external costs and report spend to HQ.
• Installations: plan and execute AI camera installations with third-party suppliers.
• Support: advise and support international offices on technology choices.
• Third-Party Relationships: manage vendors and IT/hardware suppliers, including sourcing and SLAs.
• Team Leadership & Hiring: recruit and manage junior operations staff.
• Facilities & Vendor Negotiations: negotiate office/warehouse space and liaise with authorities.
• Overall Operations: coordinate with support centers in Latvia and the Philippines and ensure HQ reporting standards.
• AI Quality: evaluate AI performance for sports.
• Research & Development: contribute to new technologies.
• Training: train staff on systems and processes.
