Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Real Estate Facility Manager in Sweden to oversee both leased and owned premises with budget accountability.

You will coordinate maintenance plans, construction projects, and regulatory compliance while partnering with business units and support functions to anticipate future needs. You will lead site budgets, manage relationships with property owners and subcontractors, and ensure timely procurement of tasks in collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Relevant education and extensive experience in property management for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Minimum 10 years in similar roles, including personnel responsibility.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills; proven ability to manage projects and maintenance budgets.
• Expertise in project management, reporting, and developing maintenance plans.
• Solid knowledge of tenancy and contract law, as well as regulatory compliance.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach with excellent documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Budget responsibility and follow-up for the different sites.
• Act as the primary contact between Hitachi and property owners as well as their subcontractors.
• Place orders for assignments in collaboration with both internal and external colleagues.
• Plan and monitor both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as various construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable directives, regulatory requirements, and laws.
• Financial follow-up and evaluation of signed agreements.
• Operational and personnel responsibility for the daily activities within the property management unit.
