Job summary

NCC is seeking a Quality Manager for the SSAB project in northern Sweden. The role focuses on leading quality management, translating requirements into practical actions, and driving continuous improvement across the project teams.

On‑site presence in Luleå is required, with travel options across Sweden. English proficiency is essential; Swedish is a plus. NCC offers a wide range of benefits and strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction, including leadership roles such as Quality Manager or Project Manager.
• Proven experience in quality management on construction projects with QA systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of the construction process from design to handover.
• Extensive experience conducting internal and external quality audits.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train others on quality topics.
• Experience in large‑scale projects is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project's Quality Manager and primary contact for quality matters.
• Guide project teams in applying NCC's quality processes and documents.
• Ensure effective collaboration among internal teams, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Coach colleagues on stakeholder management and quality practices.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the project.
• Develop, maintain and implement quality documentation, procedures and materials.
• Prepare and conduct internal and external quality audits, with follow‑up actions.
• Maintain and develop the project's quality management system per NCC policies.
• Ensure compliance with the business management system and raise awareness.
• Communicate quality requirements, standards and lessons learned across the project.
• Deliver quality training to project teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage quality reporting to meet project and business needs.
