Job summary

EasyMining Sweden AB is seeking a structured and forward-leaning Project Management Manager to lead the EPS project's delivery portfolio—from sales handover to customer acceptance—ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and customer value. You will work closely with Sales & Procurement, Engineering Manager, and the Commercial Director, while securing governance and proactive risk management.

The role is based at our Gothenburg office with some domestic and international travel, mainly across Northern

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the project management team, ensuring strong leadership capability, proactive risk handling, and clear delivery control.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and according to industry safety and quality requirements.
• Own project governance, including standardized reporting, portfolio oversight, and project model development.
• Act as project sponsor for major or strategic projects and secure early risk identification and interface management.
• Coordinate project leaders and internal/external resources, ensuring capacity planning and alignment with Sales & Procurement and Engineering.
• Drive project financial and risk management, including monitoring profitability, identify early warning signs, and implement corrective actions in alignment with the Commercial Director and Business Controller.
• Support claim management and manage change orders to safeguard project margins.

EasyMining is entering an exciting phase as we commercialize our patented technologies and deliver our first full-scale plants. To support this growth, we have established a new business unit — EPS (Engineeringand Plant Sales) — responsible for taking our technologies from pilots all the way to full plant delivery.

We are now seeking a structured and forward-leaning Project Management Manager to join the EPS management team and lead the project delivery function. In this role, you will ensure that all engineering and plant sales projects are executed safely, on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

Project Management Manager leads EasyMining’s full project delivery portfolio — from sales handover to customer acceptance.Working closely with the Manager of Sales & Procurement, Engineering Manager, and the Commercial Director, you willalsosecure project governance, resource planning, and proactive risk management.You will also be responsible for developing the project management discipline, ensuring that our delivery model scales with increasing project volume and complexity.

The position is a key part of the EPS management team.

ExpectedEducation & Experience Requirements

University degree in engineering or similar field.

10+ years of experience in project management or project leadership withinthechemical, process, energy, mining, or similar industries.

Experience with project governance, resource management, and financial control.

Meritorious: experience from technology scale-up, EPC deliveries, or circular-economy/cleantech projects.

Recovery and recycling of nutrients such as phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium from society back to the agriculture is important for sustainability. Phosphorus and potassium are scarce resources in which EU is heavily dependent on virgin import while the manufacturing of mineral nitrogen fertilizers especially has a big negative climate impact. Today, biological methods are almost solely used for treating nitrogen containing wastewaters. These processes consume large amounts of energy due to aerification and use of fossil raw materials. In addition, the established processes to produce nitrogen fertilizers (from natural gas) leads to further emissions of greenhouse gases.

EasyMining has several patented processes that enables recovery of clean commercial products by using wastes as raw materials. Examples of our processes are phosphorus recovery from incinerated sewage sludge ashes (Ash2Phos) and nitrogen recovery (Aqua2N) from nitrogen containing wastewater. TheAqua2Ntechnology enables to chemically both extract the nitrogen from sewage wastewater but also convert the extracted nitrogen to a commercial nitrogen fertilizer and thereby reduce carbon emissions.
