We are in the process of commercializing our technologies by building chemical process plants and are therefore in need of a project manager with preferably a background from the process-, mining- or petrochemical industry.

Job Brief
As Project Manager at EasyMining, you will lead engineering projects from early feasibility studies through detailed design, procurement, and all the way to commissioning and plant start‑up. You will collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and external partners to ensure effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets and prepare CAPEX estimates, where you;
- during project phase ensure cost control and report on monthly basis
- Manage the development of the overall time schedule for the project and follow-up during execution where you;
- prioritize tasks and activities
- delegate responsibility and conveying clear expectations to others
- Establish project routines for the management, communication, and coordination of the project
- Ensure that project follows QA-process, ensuring that the final delivery of the project meets end-user requirements
- Lead one or more of our engineering projects, coordinating the work of cross‑disciplinary teams
- Oversee equipment selection, process design evaluations, plant layout, and preparation of technical specifications
- Lead procurement activities, including system- and function‑based procurements, evaluation of supplier proposals, and coordination with materials, equipment, and contracting partners
- Participate in commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive terms and ensure alignment with project requirements
- Identify and manage project risks, including technical, commercial, and schedule‑related risks
- Lead technical meetings with customers, partners, suppliers, and site representatives
- Deliver technical data and documentation required for environmental permit applications
Location & Travel
This position is based at our Gothenburg office and will involve travel to project sites across Sweden and Northern Europe, depending on project needs.
Personal Requirements
- You can work with structure, both independently and in a team
- Physically capable of field work and site walk in an operating chemical plant that handles hazardous chemicals
- Can document the development process progress in an organized manner
Education & Experience Requirements
- A post‑secondary engineering education
- 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the chemical, petrochemical, or mining industry.
Office Package
- Good knowledge and understanding of the needed documents and engineering disciplines to design and construct a process plant.
- Good knowledge and experience of participating in industry design projects with a cross‑disciplinary team.
- It is of benefit if you have experience of:
- Using COMOS, AVEVA or a similar engineering system
- Filtration of ashes, phosphorus, hydroxides & heavy metals
- Market vendor contacts of pumps, filters, reactors, agitators, scrubbers, and mixer‑settlers
- Site supervision, field work and installation
- Good knowledge of Swedish (requirement)
