Job summary

Sectra is seeking a Platform Engineer in our Internal Operations department. The role focuses on building internal platforms, CI/CD environments, containerized infrastructure, and automation to support developers and safeguard critical systems across our hospital IT solutions.

We value analytical mindset, fast learning, and strong communication, with fluency in Swedish and English. A degree in engineering/IT is expected, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, or similar with a strong academic record.
• Strong interest in platform engineering, infrastructure, automation, cloud, and IT security.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.

Working as a Platform Engineer in Internal Operations

You will work in one of the teams focused on internal engineering and efficiency, paving the way for the rest of the development organization. We build the platforms, tools, and golden paths that let our developers ship great software quickly, reliably, and safely.

The team's responsibilities include the internal developer platform, CI/CD environments, containerization and orchestration, automation, security, and the tooling and infrastructure our development teams rely on every day. Together as a department we create software that helps millions of patients worldwide.

Our teams are organized into agile, self-organized groups with a shared passion for technology. The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and quality of our services.

Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

• Building and maintaining internal platforms and self‑service tooling that empower our development teams.
• Designing, operating, and improving our containerized infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.

We consider it a great asset if you:

• Have experience with containerization and orchestration (such as Docker and Kubernetes).
• Have experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms.
• Speak more languages than those required above.
• Have interests besides school and work, such as sports, music, board games, computer games, singing, or flying.
