Job summary

Sectra is seeking a Platform Engineer in our Internal Operations department. The role focuses on building internal platforms, CI/CD environments, containerized infrastructure, and automation to support developers and safeguard critical systems across our hospital IT solutions.

We value analytical mindset, fast learning, and strong communication, with fluency in Swedish and English. A degree in engineering/IT is expected, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, or similar with a strong academic record.
• Strong interest in platform engineering, infrastructure, automation, cloud, and IT security.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining internal platforms and self‑service tooling that empower our development teams.
• Designing, operating, and improving our containerized infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automating provisioning, deployment, and operations through infrastructure as code.
• Treating the platform as a product, working in close cooperation with developers as your stakeholders.
• Building security into the platform so that doing the right thing is also the easy thing, and helping safeguard the infrastructure our development teams depend on.
• Solving complex and interesting problems with modern tools and cloud solutions.
