About The Role

As a Software Engineer at Sectra, you’ll be at the core of our product development. What You’ll Do

This role offers a mix of technical challenges and opportunities to work alongside dedicated colleagues. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Solving complicated and interesting challenges in our backend using C# and C++.
  • Optimizing our solutions for cloud-native environments, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
  • Designing, managing, and stabilizing SQL databases for reliability and efficiency.
  • Using tools like Visual Studio, Git, and Jira to manage your code and track progress.

  • Have experience using AI tools as an aid in software development
  • Have experience of software development in agile ways of working
  • Speak more languages than those required above
  • Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying for example
  • Don't like to sit in unnecessary meetings, we prefer to think and develop software
