Sectra is seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead and develop the P&S team, ensuring operational excellence and compliance in a heavily regulated environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives. The role does not focus on product strategy but on people leadership and operational efficiency.
Do you want to lead and care for the team behind one of medtech's most ambitious orthopaedic product portfolios, and own the operational engine that lets us move faster than the rest of the industry?
Sectra Orthopaedics is building the orthopaedic software platform of the future. We provide tools that help physicians diagnose, treat and follow up musculoskeletal disorders to leading hospitals and clinics across the globe. We're now scaling the way we work: a growing team, more parallel programmes, shorter release cycles and deeper AI integration in how we work and what we ship.
We're hiring a Product Operations Manager to take the people‑leadership and operational load that today sits with our VP Products & Services. First and foremost you'll lead and develop the P&S team: a small group of product developers and operations engineers, growing as we add additional capabilities and bandwidth. At Sectra, leading a team means owning its wellbeing, culture, and career development. Alongside that, you'll keep the many small initiatives that move our strategy forward running in parallel, and you'll be our go‑to person for regulatory and compliance matters. Product strategy stays with the VP P&S, so you can focus on the people and the execution.
This is not a traditional management or ops role. We're a tight team building in a heavily regulated industry, and we expect our operations to be human‑centric yet AI‑native by design. You will both adopt and shape this way of working.
At Sectra, we hire for attitude and ability - train for skill. This means who you are is more important than your previous experiences. There are a few core abilities that are central for any role. We always look for your willingness and ability to learn and take on new tasks fast, utilize previous experiences and quickly grasp new information. We also want you to have a strong analytical mindset in which we consider it to be important that you can understand and break down and solve problems. We also look for good communicators who have the ability to interact with colleagues, partners and customers in an effective, clear and constructive way.
You will not own product strategy in this role - that stays with the VP P&S and flows directly to the product owners. We're looking for someone who is energised by leading people and running great operations, not someone seeking a product‑direction seat.
