Job summary

EasyMining in Uppsala is seeking a Pilot Engineer to support R&D, design, set up, test and run pilot units, and maintain equipment.

The role involves handling chemicals, working on leaching reactors, solid-liquid separations, and lab analytics; requires MSc or Eng, fluent English, Swedish reading, and hands-on mindset. You will join an R&D team in Uppsala with on-site work and potential travel for pilot trials.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or Engineering in a relevant field.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Good capability in reading Swedish.
• Experience with process equipment.
• Willing to work hands-on developing EasyMining's processes.
• Craft skills and technical understanding.
• Valid work permit for Sweden and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Design, set-up and execute pilot work with a safety-first perspective.
• Run and troubleshoot pilot setups.
• Maintenance of equipment.
• Act as a team member on an operations crew.
• Handling of chemicals in a safe manner.
• Provide documentation of work.
