Job summary

EasyMining in Uppsala is seeking a Pilot Engineer to support its R&D team in designing, setting up, testing, and running pilot plants and maintaining pilot equipment. The role involves on-site work with chemical processes, handling potentially dangerous reagents, and operating leaching reactors and solid-liquid separation equipment.

You will contribute to scaling our innovative phosphorus and nitrogen recovery technologies, ensuring safe operations, calibration, and documentation of pilot

Qualifications

• Master of Science or Engineering required.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Able to read Swedish text.
• Experience with process equipment in a process plant or manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work hands-on developing EasyMining’s processes.
• Craft skills and technical understanding.
• A valid work permit for Sweden and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Design, set-up and execute pilot work with a safety-first perspective
• Run and troubleshoot pilot set-ups
• Maintenance of equipment
• Act as a team member on an operations crew
• Handling of chemicals in a safe manner
• Provide documentation of work
