Sharp Brains is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site end-user support and manage the office IT infrastructure in Kumla. You will handle devices through their lifecycle and liaise with remote technical teams and external vendors.

The role covers troubleshooting, asset management, and coordinating with vendors on planned maintenance and technology rollouts. Strong customer service and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of basic networking (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers).
• Background in hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Solid troubleshooting, documentation habits and customer service skills.
• Able to coordinate with remote teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Maintain office IT services including network access, printing, AV systems, and meeting room tech.
• Perform regular asset audits and keep asset records up to date.
• Manage full asset lifecycle from receiving to deployment and retirement.
• Coordinate with vendors and support planned maintenance on site.
• Assist with office relocations and technology rollouts.
