Job summary

NKT’s Marine Operations Department seeks an Offshore Construction Manager to lead offshore cable installation projects and coordinate vessel operations. Oversee offshore cable installation and vessel operations
Join NKT’s Marine Operations Department as an Offshore Construction Manager for the NKT Fleet and playa central rolein delivering offshore cable installation projects that support the green transition. In this position, you will coordinate vessel operations, manage offshore teams, and ensure safe andtimelyproject execution within a global environment. Coordinate offshore construction and vessel operations execution

As Offshore Construction Manager, youare responsible forthe safe, efficient, andtimelyexecution of offshore construction activities related to cable installation. Acting as the most senior authority offshore, you coordinate vessel operations, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations. You work closely with engineers, client representatives, marine crew and subcontractors to manage daily activities and resolve operational challenges.

Your responsibility will be to:
• Plan and schedule cable installation and offshore construction activities
• Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials for project execution
• Oversee cable laying, ROV, survey, and burial operations
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and risk assessments
• Report progress, manage costs, and address operational issues

This role isoffshore basedonrotation periods at sea. You report to theDirectorMarine Operations and work closely with onshore and offshore teams across locations.

Experienced offshore professional managing complex marine projects
You bring organization and accountability to your work and handle high-pressure offshore settings with steady focus. You collaborate effectively with diverse teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders from different disciplines. You take initiative, make considered decisions, and maintain a clear focus on safety and quality in daily operations.

You also have:
• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or similar.
• 10+ years’ experience in offshore construction or engineering roles
• Experience with offshore cable installation, ROV, and marine operations
• Knowledge of risk assessment, permit to work, and safety systems
• Experience managing vessel crew and multidisciplinary offshore teams
