Job summary

HSBC in Sweden is seeking an Analyst in Global Banking to support Nordics-based clients. You will help identify opportunities, develop client relationships and coordinate with product and country teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires strong quantitative and qualitative analysis, market knowledge, and excellent English communication. You will work with Global Relationship Bankers to manage a Nordic portfolio and contribute to origination, portfolio management and credit

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Ability to research industries, competitors, clients and products.
• Experience preparing marketing materials, presentations or pitch books.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and corporate banking products.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Nordic language skills are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Relationship Bankers in managing client relationships across the Nordic region.
• Analyse clients’ financial performance, industries, competitive environments and credit strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify business development opportunities and prepare proposals, presentations and pitch materials.
• Work with clients and internal product teams to support the smooth and timely execution of transactions.
• Build knowledge of financial markets and sector developments to support origination, portfolio management and credit assessment.
• Support effective portfolio management by considering returns, risk and opportunities to optimise capital usage.
