Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Community Growth & Engagement specialist to lead Nordic-focused initiatives, grow the user base, and shape localized content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You will plan campaigns, collaborate with marketing and after-sales teams, and monitor engagement metrics to inform strategy.

This full-time role is based in Sweden and offers opportunities to contribute to the transition toward zero-emission transportation and to develop skills in a fast-growing EV ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 2+ years experience in community operations, social media, or content marketing.
• Strong understanding of Nordics digital platforms and user behavior.
• Passion for automotive industry; EV knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent English and Swedish / Norwegian / Danish / Finnish communication and copywriting skills.
• Strong ownership and execution mindset.
• Deep understanding of Nordics market, local user behavior, culture, and digital trends.
• Proven experience in localized community operations and user engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Nordic-focused community growth strategies.
• Drive user engagement through campaigns, discussions, and interactive content.
• Identify and nurture key users (KOLs, active contributors, brand advocates).
• Plan and publish localized content (posts, topics, campaigns).
• Moderate user-generated content for quality and compliance.
• Plan online and offline campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with marketing and after-sales teams on engagement initiatives.
• Monitor community metrics and provide actionable insights.
