Job summary

Omron Industrial Automation Europe in Malmö is seeking a Components Marketing Specialist to drive awareness and demand for Sensor & Components across the Nordic markets. You will partner with distributors and direct sales to run regional programs and campaigns.

The role requires a technical engineering background, marketing know-how, at least 3 years in a similar role, and strong communication skills. Fluent English and a Nordic language are required.

Qualifications

• Technical HBO Engineering or higher, preferably industrial engineering.
• Marketing and digital marketing knowledge with some specialized courses or experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Robust technical foundation and commercial acumen.
• Experience working with Nordic distributors/wholesalers.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and at least one Nordic language.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, passionate and thoughtful.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to yearly activity plans with distribution partners and implements them.
• Plans and runs targeted product campaigns that generate engagement and demand.
• Equips direct and distributor sales teams with tools, content and product knowledge.
• Demonstrates product capabilities, provides technical guidance and supports adoption.
• Conducts local market research and tracks developments to strengthen performance.
