Job summary

Tata Technologies is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for our Gothenburg, Sweden team. You will support the development and implementation of quality-assured, flexible production systems within Body Shop manufacturing, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Production facilities, and Product Creation teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with the development of manual and/or automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience within Body Shop manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of 3D manufacturing and production engineering tools.
• Experience with Siemens Process Simulate, NX Design, and Teamcenter is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for Body Shop production systems.
• Work throughout the vehicle program lifecycle, from early development phases to plant implementation.
• Prepare and implement product and manufacturing process solutions in both manual and automated production environments.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production facilities, and Product Creation teams to secure successful project deliveries.
• Ensure manufacturing solutions meet requirements related to quality, line balancing, cost efficiency, flexibility, environmental performance, and changeover capability.
• Contribute to global manufacturing projects supporting multiple production plants and vehicle programs.
• Support the development and improvement of methods and tools for future production systems and manufacturing technologies.
• Drive continuous improvements and contribute to the successful delivery of manufacturing projects.

The role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and support the development and implementation of quality-assured, flexible, and efficient production systems within Body Shop manufacturing. In this role, you will work throughout the complete vehicle program lifecycle, from early concept phases to implementation in production plants. You will collaborate with manufacturing, production, and product development teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions that support quality, cost efficiency, flexibility, and operational excellence.

• Experience with the development of manual and/or automated manufacturing systems.
• Previous experience within Body Shop manufacturing processes is considered advantageous.
• Knowledge of 3D manufacturing and production engineering tools.
• Experience working with Siemens Process Simulate, NX Design, and Teamcenter is beneficial.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused and proactive approach with the ability to drive change and deliver results.
• Interest in developing both technical and leadership capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel within and outside Europe.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious

• Experience with Teamcenter and/or NX.
