The role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of applications that optimize electrical energy and power management within advanced vehicle platforms. In this role, you will work across the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to verification and validation in HIL environments and vehicles. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team responsible for system design, software development, functional safety, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink.
• Design, implement, and maintain software solutions for automotive applications.
• Verify, validate, and refine software in HIL environments and test vehicles.
• Contribute to requirements development and test strategy activities.
• Support software integration, fault tracing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvements of methods and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in embedded software development using C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience with software verification in HIL environments and vehicles.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, software design, and fault tracing.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA, Git, Gerrit, and Zuul.
• Familiarity with SystemWeaver and/or CarWeaver.
• Understanding of automotive electrical systems and ECU communication.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving license.

Meritorious

• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
• Knowledge of Python, CAPL, and test automation.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and SOME/IP.
• Knowledge of LV/HV batteries, DC/DC converters, and energy management systems.
• Experience from the automotive or telecom industry.
