Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund seeks a Linux Helpdesk Technician to support thousands of colleagues and about 2,000 Linux clients. You will join four teammates, delivering fast, professional help across remote, phone, and on-site channels, with a strong emphasis on user satisfaction.

You will troubleshoot, install Linux clients, document processes, and contribute to future support strategies, including AI-assisted self-service options. Hybrid work and on-site presence in Lund are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux depth in a client environment.
• Experience supporting users and resolving technical issues.
• Experience with ticketing and case management systems.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues through our ticketing system, by phone, using remote tools and on site.
• Staff the walk-in service desk about half a day a week, helping colleagues with laptops, phones and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a Linux environment.
• Install, configure and deliver Linux clients using tools such as Ubuntu and FAI (Fully Automatic Installation).
• Spot and fix issues before they reach users, with the help of tools such as Ubuntu Landscape.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Help shape how we support users in future, through AI-supported solutions and self-service options.
