Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Lund, Sweden, is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a contract ~1 year onsite. You will be the visible point of contact for colleagues, solving hardware, software, and connectivity problems and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

The role offers to grow across devices and workplace technology, collaborate with local and global teams, and build experience in a modern enterprise setting while maintaining a strong service mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in IT support or related fields.
• Hands-on experience supporting users in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Active Directory or identity-management concepts.
• Working knowledge of IT service-management tools and network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN.
• Experience with device lifecycle and asset management; exposure to MacBook support and Microsoft Intune is valuable.
• A degree or diploma in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on onsite support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and other workplace technology.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, and coordinate with specialist teams when needed.
• Set up, deploy, replace and retire devices while maintaining accurate asset and inventory records.
• Support meeting-room technology, audio-visual equipment, collaboration tools and wired or wireless connectivity.
• Contribute during upgrades, office moves and workplace transformation initiatives, with clear documentation throughout.
• Identify recurring issues and share ideas that improve service quality, knowledge management and the employee experience.
