Job summary

Villa Valentina, part of Urban Italian Group, is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. You will work with our chefs to prep food, maintain cleanliness, and assist during service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Previous kitchen experience is valued, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are essential for growth in our hospitality-focused teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation
• Help keep kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service
• Assist chefs during preparation and service when required
• Receive, store and organise ingredients and deliveries correctly
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Support with stock rotation and minimise food waste
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas
• Work closely with the whole kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Bring a positive and helpful attitude to every shift

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly every day, working alongside our chefs, you’ll support with food preparation, organisation and cleanliness while learning how a busy professional kitchen operates.
