Job summary

Trattoria Giorgio's, part of Urban Italian Group, seeks a Head Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy services, lead and develop the team, and uphold our high food standards with pride and discipline. You will mentor chefs across sections, manage stock, waste and food cost, ensure hygiene and safety, and work closely with the General Manager to drive strong restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Has strong experience as Head Chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Able to lead a busy, high-volume kitchen.
• Understands food cost, stock control, ordering and profitability.
• Can train, coach and motivate a team with clear standards.

• Prizes cleanliness and operational discipline.
• Believes in teamwork, ownership and respect in the kitchen.

The Role

As Head Chef, You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly through busy services, supporting and developing your team, and making sure our food standards are delivered with pride and discipline. This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, ownership and the pace of a high-volume restaurant.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the kitchen team through prep, service and daily operations.
• Delivering consistent food quality, presentation and kitchen standards.
• Coaching, training and developing chefs across all sections.
