Nordic Investin in Sweden is seeking a Junior IT Operations Engineer to learn modern infrastructure, automate recurring work and understand service behavior in production. You will work across teams with experienced colleagues and gradually take ownership of automation and service improvement.
The role offers real responsibility in controlled steps and opportunities to build evidence of capability, with clear expectations and a pathway toward cloud engineering and automation.
On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Junior IT Operations Engineer. You want an operations role where you can learn modern infrastructure, automate recurring work and understand how services behave in production.
The partner is strengthening a team that supports cloud, workplace and core infrastructure services. You will handle operational work with experienced colleagues and gradually take ownership of automation and service improvement.
The work spans organisational boundaries and requires both technical understanding and disciplined communication. Decisions must remain useful when they reach delivery teams, suppliers and operational owners.
You will work across teams with different incentives, technical histories and decision rights. The partner expects concise preparation, visible dependencies and follow through after meetings. Strong performance means that people understand what was decided, why it matters and what they now own.
You will work with experienced colleagues who review both the outcome and the reasoning behind it. The partner expects curiosity, care and steady growth rather than instant expertise. You will receive real responsibility in controlled steps and clear opportunities to build evidence of your capability.

Good Windows and basic Linux knowledge.
Understanding of TCP IP, identity and cloud fundamentals.
Interest in PowerShell, Python or another scripting language.
Careful communication and willingness to document learning.
Professional English; Swedish is useful for user support.
Microsoft 365 or Azure administration.
Home laboratory, internship or relevant certification.
Monitoring, endpoint management or network support.
You may be a recent graduate, service desk technician or technically curious career changer with credible hands on learning. The partner values reliability, initiative and a thoughtful approach to access and change.
You will receive broad exposure and support from experienced engineers while contributing from the start. The role can develop toward cloud engineering, automation, security or service reliability.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
