Job summary

Nordnet is seeking a System Engineer for IT infrastructure to maintain and improve on-prem storage, servers and backup, from hardware to the operating system. You will focus on automation and virtualization to support fast-moving workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience with IaC and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with SAN, Ansible.
• Experience in banking/finance is a plus.
• Fluent English and Swedish required.

Your role

In your role as a system engineer within the team IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for continuously improving and maintaining our on-prem storage, servers and backup all the way from the hardware up to the operating system. Together with the team you will focus on automation and virtualisation to be able to handle the workloads. As a team we are forward leaning and always looking at new technologies to help us improve. Our experts within network will be your best friends and together you will ensure that our systems are always up and running and that our development teams can work at full speed. With Nordnet's ongoing cloud journey, using Google Cloud Platform, you will also work closely together with our Cloud Squad to find synergies and with this have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge within this field.

The position includes on call duty.
