Job summary

Oticon Medical in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking an IT Support Technician (Level 1 & 2) to maintain and support IT equipment and services. You will deliver first- and second-level support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to IT service improvements.

The role reports to the IT Manager within a global company. You will work at our Sisjön office, providing hardware maintenance, security of networks, and user training as part of a collaborative IT team.

Qualifications

Degree in IT, computer science, or related field appreciated, but equivalent experience will be considered.
2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support role is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, commission, and monitor new IT equipment and systems.
On-site or remote intervention to troubleshoot technical issues.
Perform regular updates on workstations and hardware maintenance.
Ensure the security of company networks and data.
Implement IT solutions to provide resources for employees and improve IT services.
Train staff after installation of new equipment and promote best practices.
Identify obsolescence and provide reports to support renewal of IT infrastructure.
Monitor and manage IT inventory and stock levels.
