Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks an IT Support Engineer for a ~1 year onsite contract. You will be the visible, trusted contact for colleagues needing practical technical support across devices, apps, connectivity and workplace tech, driving smooth daily operations in a modern enterprise.

The role offers broad technical exposure, collaboration with local and global teams, and a chance to show ownership from first contact to resolution while developing in a dynamic IT

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in IT support, desktop support, field services or end-user computing.
• Hands-on experience supporting users in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Active Directory or identity-management concepts.
• Working knowledge of IT service-management tools and network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN.
• Experience with device lifecycle and asset management; exposure to MacBook support and Microsoft Intune is valuable.
• A degree or diploma in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on onsite support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and other workplace technology.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, and coordinate with specialist teams when needed.
• Set up, deploy, replace and retire devices while maintaining accurate asset and inventory records.
• Support meeting-room technology, audio-visual equipment, collaboration tools and wired or wireless connectivity.
• Contribute during upgrades, office moves and workplace transformation initiatives, with clear documentation throughout.
• Identify recurring issues and share ideas that improve service quality, knowledge management and the employee experience.
