Job summary

DS Smith is seeking an IT Operations Team Leader to drive stability, performance and security of our IT environment. You will lead a regional IT infrastructure team across servers, networks, storage and telecoms, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management in a dynamic international setting.

The role is based in Mariestad or Värnamo, Sweden, with a hybrid work model allowing 60% remote work.

Qualifications

Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Certifications in relevant IT technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA).
Experience in a shared services environment.
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing IT infrastructure team.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations and ensure high availability, performance and security.
Project Management: Lead IT infrastructure projects from planning to implementation with budgets and resources.
Incident Management: Lead during IT incidents and outages and coordinate response and recovery.
Capacity Planning: Analyze capacity and develop plans to meet future business needs.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT infrastructure vendors and SLAs.
