Job summary

OX2, a renewable energy company, is strengthening its Treasury function with a newly created Insurance & Credit Risk Officer role to build the framework for insurances across an expanding international portfolio. You will shape governance, manage risks and collaborate with insurers, brokers and lenders.

You will be the primary interface between Finance and external partners, overseeing insurance programs from development through operations, and evaluating innovative risk transfer solutions

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience within Treasury, Risk Management, Project Finance or a related discipline.
• Experience within infrastructure, energy, renewables, utilities or asset-intensive industries.
• Hands-on experience managing insurance programs for infrastructure or renewable energy assets.
• Experience with project finance insurance requirements and lender-related covenants.
• Structured construction all-risk and business interruption insurance structures.
• Strong credit analysis experience involving commercial counterparties and financial institutions.
• Experience working across multiple European markets and jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage external advisors, brokers and consulting partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage OX2's group-wide insurance program across all markets.
• Lead insurance placements, renewals, broker relationships and claims management processes.
• Ensure appropriate and optimized insurance coverage throughout development, construction and operational phases.
• Manage construction all-risk, property damage, business interruption, liability, D&O and professional indemnity program.
• Own the insurance budget, premium allocation and loss-ratio reporting, and evaluate alternative risk transfer structures where relevant.
• Ensure compliance with lender insurance requirements and act as the primary point of contact for lender insurance advisors.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging risk transfer solutions, including weather and energy yield insurance products.
• Coordinate claims processes in close collaboration with Legal and operational stakeholders.
• Support M&A and divestment processes with warranty & indemnity insurance and transactional risk input.
