At OX2, we are accelerating the transition to renewable energy. We develop, build, own and manage renewable energy assets across multiple markets. Backed by EQT and with a rapidly growing operational portfolio, we are now strengthening our Treasury function with a newly created role: Insurance & Credit Risk Officer.
This is a unique opportunity to build and own OX2's framework for managing insurance across an expanding international portfolio of renewable energy projects and operating assets as well as establishing procedures for assessing counterparty credit risk.
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the Insurance & Credit Risk Officer will serve as OX2's centre of excellence for financial risk transfer, ensuring that credit exposures and insurable risks are identified, assessed and appropriately mitigated across the business. You will act as the primary interface between Finance and external insurers, brokers, lenders and key counterparties, while collaborating closely with Asset Management, Operations, TCM, Project Finance, Procurement, Legal and Development teams. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from project development and construction through to operations.
As this is a newly established function and role, you will have a significant opportunity to shape frameworks, processes and governance from the ground up.
