• Manage supplier due diligence, insurance procurement, and claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers globally.

Overview

OX2 is expanding its Energy Storage business and is looking for a BESS Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and contracting of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related insurance for our growing portfolio of utility-scale storage projects.

You will be a key player in ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-efficient storage systems, working closely with internal teams (Engineering, Construction, Development, Investments) and external stakeholders (suppliers, EPCs, advisors). Your role will involve strategic procurement, commercial negotiation, risk management, and supplier relations — all critical for project success.

What we’re looking for

• You have:
• 5+ years’ experience in BESS procurement or sales for utility-scale projects across multiple countries
• Proven skills in commercial negotiation, risk assessment, and contract management
• Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English (other languages such as Polish, Italian, Swedish, or Finnish are a plus)

Location & Travel

This is an international role based in one of OX2’s key offices: Stockholm, Milan, Warsaw, or Helsinki. Regular travel across Europe and to supplier sites (including Asia) is expected.
