Job summary

Saab in Sweden seeks a Systems Engineer to join the development team as a Technical Sales Support Engineer. You will bridge the sales team and the engineering group, delivering deep technical and product knowledge and translating customer needs into actionable insights.

You will travel extensively to meet customers at their sites and to Saab facilities, supporting the sales process with technical proposals, demonstrations, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as Systems Engineer in defense/security.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical interface between sales, customers and design.
• Travel extensively to meet customers and understand requirements.
• Present Saab solutions and provide technical briefings.
• Collaborate with sales to develop proposals, tenders and cost estimates.
• Contribute to sales strategies with technical insights and market intel.
• Contribute to product roadmap to match customer needs.
• Stay updated on tech trends to keep Saab competitive.
• Provide technical training/support to sales team.
