About the role
This role sits within Group Finance shares responsibility for the consolidation and reporting process across the group, together with holding system ownership of key financial platforms. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in Group Accounting, and the position offers a clear path to grow your technical and system skills over time.
Your work will centre on the group reporting cycle across monthly, quarterly and yearly processes, together with system ownership.
On a monthly basis you will help drive the group closing process. This involves coordinating with business units, managing the setup and consolidation cycle in IBM Controller, and ensuring accuracy and completeness across exchange rates, opening balances and reporting status.
On a quarterly basis the cycle adds IFRS 16 reporting and administration in Tiego, including data extraction and upload to IBM Controller, together with maintaining the reconciliation that explains the differences between the statutory figures and the management view of the results.
The yearly process includes impairment and valuation support, contribution to the annual report, audit preparation and coordination, transfer pricing, and maintenance of the Group Finance Manual and Group Reporting Calendar.
You will also play a part in sustainability reporting, including CSRD and GHG emissions data.
A significant part of the role is system ownership. You will act as an administrator for IBM Controller and Tiego, as well as Position Green, covering user management, period control, structural maintenance and ongoing development of reporting forms and dimensions.
