Job description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Group IFRS and Audit Manager to join our Group Finance team in Stockholm. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Consolidation & ESG Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and the effective management of the Group's external and internal audits.

In this position, you will act as the Group's technical accounting expert, partnering closely with global finance teams across multiple countries and key internal stakeholders. You will support the business through complex accounting matters, new IFRS requirements, and audit processes, offering an excellent opportunity to combine technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, international environment.

How to make an impact
  • Ensure consistent application of IFRS across the Group and provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters.
  • Interpret and implement new IFRS standards, accounting regulations, and emerging reporting requirements, including preparations for IFRS 18.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate Group Accounting Policies, accounting manuals, and technical guidance.
  • Provide technical accounting support to subsidiaries and business units, reviewing accounting treatments for complex and non-routine transactions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating interim and year-end audit activities across the Group.
  • Coordinate audit deliverables, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and facilitating efficient communication between auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor audit findings, coordinate remediation activities, and follow up on recommendations to drive continuous improvements.
  • Prepare technical accounting papers, audit reports, and presentations for senior management, the CFO, the Audit Committee, and the Board.
About you

You are curious about technical accounting and genuinely enjoy solving complex challenges. A proactive individual, you take full ownership of your work and drive initiatives forward from start to finish. You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach to your day-to-day responsibilities, consistently maintaining high standards even under tight deadlines. Thriving in an international, collaborative environment, you possess excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to build strong relationships and communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Your background
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience within Group Accounting, Technical Accounting, Audit, or Financial Reporting (Big Four experience is highly preferred, ideally combined with time in an international, listed, or multinational company).
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidated financial statements, and experience interpreting and implementing new accounting standards (familiarity with IFRS 18 is a strong advantage).
