Job summary

Lindab Group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to strengthen reporting and consolidation, drive governance, and support finance process development across the organization. The role involves interfacing with regional finance teams and assisting in the financial integration of acquisitions.

Based in Malmö with regular contact at the headquarters, you will report to the Group Finance Manager and contribute to continuous improvements and standardization of processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in group accounting and consolidation processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Proven ability to drive improvements in finance processes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group closes including consolidation of subsidiaries under IFRS.
• Ensure high quality, consistent and compliant group financial reporting.
• Lead onboarding of acquired entities in line with group policies and IFRS.
• Develop and maintain reporting instructions and documentation.
• Improve internal routines, closing procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with regional controllers and local finance teams across the group.

Job description

Following several years of growth and acquisitions, Lindab is strengthening its Group Finance function. We are looking for a Group Financial Controller who wants to play a key role in reporting and consolidation while contributing to the continued development of finance processes, governance and integration activities across the organization.

About the role

You will be part of Lindab’s Group Finance team and work closely with regional finance teams, local controllers, and other Group functions.

As Group Financial Controller, you will play a central role in the Group’s reporting and consolidation process while contributing to continuous improvements within Group Finance. You will also be involved in the financial integration of newly acquired companies and support initiatives related to governance, standardization, and process efficiency.

In this role, you will report to Ingrid Petersson, Group Finance Manager. The position is based at our office in Malmö, with regular interaction and presence at our headquarters in Grevie.

Your responsibilities

Key focus areas in the role include Group reporting and consolidation, financial integration of acquisitions, process improvements, and strengthening governance and internal controls.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the Group in accordance with IFRS, including consolidation of financial information from subsidiaries
• Ensuring high quality, consistency, and compliance in financial reporting across the Group
• Leading and supporting the financial onboarding of acquired entities, ensuring alignment with Group accounting policies and IFRS reporting requirements
• Developing reporting instructions and relevant documentation
• Continuously developing and optimizing internal routines, processes, and closing procedures
• Contributing to the development of internal controls and governance within Group reporting
• Supporting, guiding, and working closely with Regional Controllers and local finance teams across the Group
• Working closely with finance teams across the Group on reporting, governance, integration and process improvement initiatives
• Driving and participating in finance development projects focused on efficiency, standardization, digitalization, and automation

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest and several years of experience in Group accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting. You have knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in Group consolidation. Experience from a listed company and an acquisition-driven environment is considered an advantage. You hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person you are comfortable taking ownership of core finance processes and enjoy working in a role that combines technical accounting expertise with collaboration, structure and continuous improvement. You have a strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
