Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, maintenance and repair of Pathology systems solutions across diverse labs. You will install, optimize, diagnose and repair hardware, software and networking components, and train customers to maximize uptime.

The role requires 5–8 years of customer-facing field service experience, strong troubleshooting, proactive learning and excellent communication. Travel up to 50% and a remote work option are available.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years customer-facing field service experience
• Experience with medical devices or laboratory equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Clear, respectful written and verbal communication
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Install and optimize hardware/software/network products at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues
• Perform maintenance and repairs on pathology systems
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations
• Provide on-site training to customers and other engineers
• Deliver integrated solutions including peripherals, OS and applications
