Job summary

Revvity Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair Life Science Diagnostics instruments, with initial focus on reproductive health systems. You will train users onsite and coordinate monthly maintenance tasks.

The role requires a strong background in electronic engineering, biology/chemistry, and excellent communication in Swedish and English. Travel to customer sites and overseas offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering + Chemistry / Biology to senior school level.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Significant years experience in a related Customer Service Environment.
• Preference for Liquid Handling, High Content Screening or Immunoassay Systems in a clinical environment (training provided).
• Broad understanding of Prenatal and Neonatal Screening and Revvity Diagnostics Systems is an advantage.
• Expert PC user with knowledge of Microsoft OS (XP, 7, 10); ability to network PCs; LIS awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service as advised by coordinators and Team Leader.
• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of Diagnostics instrument portfolio; initial focus on Reproductive Health Screening systems.
• Provide first-line onsite user training on Diagnostics systems.
• Organise routine maintenance on a monthly basis.
• Perform service on behalf of Revvity overseas offices as needed, meeting quality and regulatory standards.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, service bulletins and manuals to the correct revision.
